Important protocol have been signed in 1996 between Kenya (Ministry of Water Resources and Environment) and Egypt (Ministry of Water Resources & Irrigation) in the framework of Kenya - Egypt technical cooperation borehole drilling project. REGWA has awarded the contract for the implementation of a turnkey project including well drilling, pump and generating system. This project has assisted to supply many deprived remote areas with the necessary drinking water supply.

Phase I Project :-		Drilling, completion and testing of (100) production wells (±150m), drilling of (29) exploration boreholes.
Phase II Project :-		Drilling, completion and testing of (30) production wells (±150m), drilling of (13) exploration boreholes
