The General Company
For Research and Groundwater “REGWA” is an Egyptian
company established in 1960 on purpose of research and investigations
of groundwater.
The main activities
are : Drilling all types of water wells, Erection of pump stations,
Pipe line networks, Land Reclamation, Geological and Hydrological
Studies locally and internationally.
Since its establishment, REGWA has taken part in the studies
and research work concerning the mentioned activities or a
part of them according to the needs and requirements in different
desert areas and Nile Valley in Egypt.
REGWA
extends its activities to other countries upon requests such
as Libya, Sudan, Ivory Coast, Niger and Kenya.
REGWA
has all equipments and necessary tools to establish any drilling
programme wherever it may be required.
The company has fifty seven rigs with different capacities
(up to 2000m) and high technology type of rigs, as down hole
hammer.
REGWA
offers an extensive consulting services which cover all the
stages from preliminary studies to consultation, supervision,
including feasibility studies, preliminary designs, final engineering
specifications, preparation and review of tender documents and
drafting contracts.
REGWA Staff
are highly well trained personnel each in his field of specialization.
Also, it includes local experts as consultants in the structure.
Qualified specialists on a local or international scale could
be hired according the job needs.
REGWA was awarded
both the English and French ISO 9001 version 2000 certificates
of registration.
Since 1994 the company
have been privatized under the law 159/1981 as an Egyptian
Common Stock Company.
REGWA
acts as a commercial agent and authorized dealer for some wide
world qualified companies.
REGWA
forms an association with other companies, Egyptian or foreign
acting as joint- venture.
