Is a firm for architectural,
engineering and interior design of high quality projects such as
hotels, resorts, shopping centers and other public buildings. The
DEG scope of works ranges from concepts to designs and complete
tender documents provision as well as technical services to developers
in the permanent site supervision and contracts administration.
The DEG acts as the main firm, committed to management and co-ordination
of all construction disciplines in design and execution.
The DEG has been founded in Egypt in 1992 as a private architectural
bureau. Having achieved remarkable growth of works, the bureau has
been developed into a joint stock company under the Law 159/1981
in the year 1997.
At the present time the DEG sustains collaboration agreements with
Skaarup & Jespersen A.S. in Copenhagen.
Mr. Nielse Basse, a Danish architect with his head office located
in Greece and acting as associated partner of DEG since 1997, responsible
for project co-ordination. The scope of co-operation and joint works
is conducted within margins duly defined by both parties.
The DEG has been recently qualified for the ISO 9001, at the beginning
of the year 2000.

Consultant Architect Mohamed
Abdel Hamid Hassan Amer, the founder is on top of the DEG structure
as president and principal architect. He studied architecture and
planning at the Royal Danish Academy of fine arts, School of Architecture,
in Copenhagen, Denmark, wherein he was granted the Master Degree
in the field and he is a member of the Federation of Danish Architects
and the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate. Awards the title of consultant
architect in the field of: Tourist Projects Architectural Design,
from the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate.

The DEG permanent staff (Egyptians & Danish) reaches 25 architects,
interior designers, engineers and quantity surveyors along with
supporting administrative and secretarial staff.
In addition to the conducted associations with the aforementioned
expatriate consultants, the DEG hires the services of a number of
local consulting offices for different disciplines, deliberately
selected to suit expertise, standards and requirements in the in-house
projects.
The DEG offices now occupy 350 square meters of office space in
Cairo, which will be doubled within the company plan for expansion
in year 2003.
